Whitstable midfielder Jake Gess sending off with about fifteen minutes of the second half gone changed the game in the home sides favour. They eventually overcame ten-man Town with less than a minute of normal time remaining to undo hard working Whitstable side who were never outclassed. “We should have been two up by half time if we’d have taken our chances, the sending off made it a different game in the second half,’ said Whitstable manager Mark Munday, “ but for that we should have easily come away with a point, could have been all three.” Full match report to follow:
